My idol is Sir Abdul Kalam.

Abdul Kalam, also known as the 'People's President,' was a prominent Indian scientist and politician who served as the 11th President of India from 2002 to 2007. He was born on October 15, 1931, in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu, India. He was one of the most inspiring personalities of our time and continues to be an inspiration to millions around the world.

Kalam's life is a true example of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. He was born into a humble family and had to struggle to make ends meet. However, he was a brilliant student and was determined to succeed. He obtained a degree in aerospace engineering from the Madras Institute of Technology and went on to work for the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).

Kalam's contributions to India's missile technology and space programs are remarkable. He played a crucial role in the development of the Agni and Prithvi missiles and was the chief architect of India's first satellite launch vehicle, SLV-III. He received several awards and honors, including the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian award, for his outstanding contributions to the field of science and technology.

However, Kalam was more than just a scientist. He was a true visionary who believed in the power of education and youth. He was a great teacher and mentor who always encouraged young people to dream big and work hard to achieve their goals. He was a prolific writer and speaker and wrote several books, including "Wings of Fire" and "Ignited Minds," which continue to inspire millions of young people around the world.

Kalam's humility, simplicity, and down-to-earth personality were some of his most endearing qualities. He was always approachable and willing to help anyone who sought his advice.
