The best event I ever organize was my sister wedding back in 25 December 2022.Me and my family planned the wedding together months before the wedding. The wedding that has been plan went very well and there are no problems happen on the wedding day. We invited My family relatives,friends,Brother-in-law family and relatives, brother-in-law friends, my sister friends and some of my friends. Everyone that go to the wedding and went back home with good impression, so we did a well job on that day.The wedding started at 10A.M and ends at 5P.M.

   Months before the wedding, my family are in charged for everything that will happen on that wedding day. So the whole family gathered at my parents house to have a family meeting. They are 3 brothers and their family, my sister then the last child which is me.We were just talking about how we are going to make this,where the venue will it be,when the wedding will start,what theme,and more.We all started preparation for the wedding by doing everything that we needed to do.

   After months of preparation,the wedding day have arrived.Everyone came to my sister wedding excitedly to see the new bride.But of course people didn’t only come to see the bride,they also wanted to eat after a long ride.So the food that have been served by catering that we hired did the work.Everybody really enjoyed the food.The catering served Kambing bakar,Nasi minyak,Ayam masak merah and they even served deserts such as ice cream and cendol.People compliment the food that catering served.

   At the wedding,I became the greeter for the guest well basically because im the youngest.So I had to greet those people that I don’t even know and didn’t meet for a long time.I hate really hate that work because im not very good at socializing with strangers and people that I barely even meet because it will be awkward,and of course I don’t want to meet them because every single person that came to the wedding will start to ask very typical questions such as when you are going to marry,where do you study now and more typical questions.The worst part is when they ask you about where do you further your study.Those people that know about maritime industry the would know what is ALAM,but those people that doesn’t know when I said I study at ALAM the would be like “oh you went to shah alam?” or “after you finished you will become a navy soldier?”.That question literally annoys me every single time until now.

   Finally after being tired answering those questions,The bride finally show up and guests very excited and clapping their hands after get to see the bride.Everybody were taking pictures and video of the bride.After that,the bride went to eat then after done eating they went to greet the guests.While they were greeting the guests,my brothers and father decided to sing too many songs that the guests doesn’t even have a chance to sing.After 5 P.M,everyone went to home with expression full of joy.Then my family took leftover food that catering served then we went home.

 

  That’s all the story about the best event that I ever organize about my sister wedding day.There is a little lesson from this story.The lessons are do well preparation to make sure the event that you organize would goes well,maybe something would happen but overall the event would still be good.Next lesson is don’t become a greeter is you are socially awkward.
