The Worst Event That I Have Organised

As a student leader, I was entrusted with the responsibility of organizing an event for my school which is Hari Raya celebration. I need to separate the job equally among the student. However, things did not go as planned and it turned out to be the worst event that I have ever organized.   I had chosen a theme for the event and had invited various performers to showcase their talents. For example, Wany Hasrita and Iman Troye. However, on the day of the event, many performers did not show up and those who did were unprepared. The sound system malfunctioned and there were technical difficulties throughout the event.   To make matters worse, there was poor communication between me and my team members which resulted in chaos during the event. The audience was left disappointed and frustrated by our lack of organization.   I also decided to order food from catering for all the students and teachers.   As the president of the history club in my school, I organized an event at a local museum to provide my members with an opportunity to learn more about history and the artifacts that are housed in the museum. Unfortunately, during the event, some of my club members broke down a few things at the museum. The event was scheduled to take place on a Saturday, and I had arranged for a guided tour of the museum for my members. The tour was meant to provide them with an in-depth understanding of the artifacts that were on display, and their significance in history. The tour was followed by a brief presentation and a Q&A session, during which my members had the opportunity to ask the museum staff questions about the artifacts.   As the president of the rugby sports team, I recently organized an event where my team members participated and won. It was an incredible experience for everyone involved, and we were thrilled to come out on top. The event was a regional rugby tournament, which took place over a weekend. We had been preparing for this event for months, and our team had put in a lot of hard work and dedication to get to this point. We were determined to give it our all and do our best to win. On the first day of the tournament, we faced some tough competition, but our team played exceptionally well. We won our first two games, which gave us a lot of confidence going into the final day of the tournament. On the second day, we faced our biggest challenge yet - a team that had been undefeated throughout the entire tournament. However, we were well-prepared and ready to take them on.     In every human life,they would experience at least one worst event including me.So the worst event that I ever organized is my trip to Penang with my friends.The trip wasn’t that bad but there are several bad things happened during the trip.Me and my friends did have fun on the trip but also have bad times on the trip.   One day,I was hanging out with my friends around 10.00 P.M at a thai restaurant.We were just chatting and laughing at each other until all of sudden my friend said how about we all go to Penang for 2 day and 1 night.So we ask him why we are going there and what for.He answered just wanted to hang out at other places.Then we ask him when and he answered in 2 days.It was a last minute plan and we didn’t plan anything what are we going to do but we all just agreed to go and decided to go at 9 A.M and there are four people.   The trip day have arrived and we still at our house at 9 A.M.We are going to Penang by my friend car   and he is from...

(me with my ALAM friends)  Organising an event with friends might be challenging sometimes but fulfilling. This is because each of us should be available on the event day. Hanging out with good friends can make your day cheerful and relaxed from stress.  During this year Chinese New Year(2023), I planned to invite my friends from ALAM to visit my hometown as we were on one week holiday. We had small discussion about where to go and what to do earlier in our campus hostel so, it was easy for me to do some preparation for them when I go back home. The next day after reaching home for holiday, I booked a nearby homestay with good facilities for my friends to stay and relax. Then I rented a car from a nearby car rental office as well. I make sure the car was in good condition so that my friends would not face discomforts in my hometown.       The best event I ever organize was my sister wedding back in 25 December 2022.Me and my family planned the wedding together months before the wedding. The wedding that has been plan went very well and there are no problems happen on the wedding day. We invited My family relatives,friends,Brother-in-law family and relatives, brother-in-law friends, my sister friends and some of my friends. Everyone that go to the wedding and went back home with good impression, so we did a well job on that day.The wedding started at 10A.M and ends at 5P.M.    Months before the wedding, my family are in charged for everything that will happen on that wedding day.   (my friends walking under hot sun) When I was in sem break last year(2022), I felt boring staying at home doing nothing. Then one day I got to know some of my friends were in holidays as well. So I thought of hanging out with my friends after a very long gap because the last we went out was during our high school. I texted each and everyone who were free asking whether they can make it or not. Then I created a group in whatsapp and added them all. We had a group discussion about where to go in the group. I personally suggested going Georgetown,Penang as we can eat good food and have fun somewhere else. After some time chatting, all of us agreed to go Georgetown,Penang and fixed the date.
